Male, Age 28
Non-smoker
Patient had no control for 10 years.
Initial Situation
Dental hypersensitivity and abundance of generalized tartar, in the region of the anterior teeth the gum was draining purulent material.
Treatment
The objective of the treatment was to perform the tartarectomy with the least sensitivity possible and for this purpose the MyLunos Duo® device was used, with an S2 instrument, the powder jet handpiece was used with Lunos® Prophy Powder Perio Combi and to finish, dental polishing was carried out with the Lunos® Prophy Paste Two in One.

We always seek to provide the greatest comfort to our patients and with the MyLunos Duo® device this is undoubtedly possible; the texture of the powder allows for excellent polishing of the root areas. Compared to conventional scaling, the results are the same, but we managed to promote a pleasant scaling with the MyLunos Duo® device.
The patient said that despite being aware of the amount of tartar he had, he thought he would feel a lot of sensitivity and pain, which was not the case, he considered that the scaling was comfortable and loved the fact that the jet was very soft.
