MyLunos Duo® combines multiple functions into just one device, which can be quickly and intuitively controlled. The various application and setting options offer the user a great deal of flexibility when selecting treatment methods.

Powder jet application
During a prophylaxis session, you can use the functions ‘Supra’ and ‘Perio’ to switch as required between supragingival and subgingival powder jet application. There are two different nozzles available, which rotate through 360°, enabling easier access to the hard-to-reach areas in the mouth of the patient.

The two nozzles can be quickly and easily exchanged during the treatment, and the unique compatibility of the nozzles with the mobile MyLunos® powder jet handpiece from Dürr Dental enables flexible use of the accessories.

For powder jet application, we offer the Lunos® Prophy powders ‘Gentle Clean’ for supragingival and ‘Perio Combi’ for sub- and supragingival use. The two powder chambers mean that powder can be changed quickly as needed during the treatment, without needing to switch off the device or remove the powder chambers.
The water is heated to a pleasant temperature, and a steady continuous flow of air in the powder jet handpiece protects against blockage.

Ultrasonic application
The second area of use is dedicated to ultrasound. The slim and lightweight Scaler handpiece can be
operated ergonomically and with little fatigue. The LED lighting ensures that the working area in the patient’s mouth is perfectly illuminated.
MyLunos Duo® offers a great choice of different Scaler instruments to enable needs-appropriate use of the system in a wide range of treatment scenarios and patient cases. All instruments and attachments are suitable for full cleaning and disinfection.
