In addition to good positioning, a stable positioning with as little patient movement as possible is essential for perfect extraoral X-rays. This is particularly important for 3D images, which are reconstructed from a large number of individual images. The new Comfort Bite enables a more stable fixation of the patient's head during 3D and 2D image acquisition and thus provides great and sharp X-ray scans.

The new Comfort Bite consists of a Comfort Bite Block and a Comfort Bite Foam made of soft foam. Thanks to its wide support, it allows the patient to be positioned in a stable and comfortable position. The teeth are individually recessed in the Comfort Bite Foam, which reduces patient movement during the acquisition.

The Comfort Bite Blocks (order no. 2210201075, 3 pcs) can be reprocessed manually and reprocessed with automated procedures, whereas the Comfort Bite Foam (order no. 2210201067, 100 pcs) is a disposable item.

The new Comfort Bite Block is compatible with the Bite Block Holder from VistaVox S and VistaPano S and can be ordered for all devices.
