MD 520 Impression disinfection
Fully virucidal – yet gentle on materials at the same time
MD 520 is a highly effective and ready-to-use solution for the cleaning and disinfection of contaminated dental impressions, impression trays and prosthetic work. It is formaldehyde-free. The ready-to-use solution can be used for immersion disinfection in a Hygobox or in the disinfection box from DÜRR DENTAL, as well as in the Hygojet.

1MD 520 has been tested under high loads in accordance with EN 13727, EN 13624, EN 14348, EN 14476, EN 14561, EN 14562, EN 14563, EN 17111 and the DVV/RKI guideline.
MD 520 can be used to reliably clean and disinfect impressions made of alginate, silicone, polyether rubber, polysulphide and hydrocolloid. Use of this product does not affect the required dimensional stability of the objects being cleaned, and it also offers good compatibility with plaster. As part of the process, blood, saliva, etc. are removed, resulting in improved precision of the master model made of plaster. In addition, MD 520 can also be used to disinfect dentures, bridges, crowns, orthodontic devices, drill templates for implant systems, etc. The product can also be used in Hygojet and is extremely economical: 4x 2.5 l is enough for 1000 applications.
