Initial Situation
The patient is currently undergoing Aligner therapy with their orthodontist but wanted their stains removed. They had local areas of recession up to 3mm, no PD >3mm, with no changes from their base periodontal chart.

Treatment
Oral hygiene instruction was provided. An OptraGate was used to isolate the teeth. Calculus was removed with ultrasound and hand instruments, followed by the use of MyLunos® powder jet handpiece with Lunos® Prophy Powder Gentle Clean Orange to remove plaque and stains.

Clinician Feedback
Using the MyLunos® powder jet handpiece really sped up the process of stain removal around the porous attachments. It allowed me to only use the ultrasonic and hand scalers to remove calculus.
