Comparison of images on the light table
Look at video, X-ray and 3D images on a shared digital light table. This will enable you to consult a wide range of different X-ray images for diagnostics. Similarly, all notes created in a layer of a CBCT image can be located with the aid of a list, with no time-consuming searches. One click switches the view to the corresponding layer. Key questions and answers
VistaSoft is a software tool for digital imaging in dentistry. VistaSoftcan be used to take and save X-ray / video images for a patient.
VistaSoft can migrate data from version 5.11 of DBSWIN or higher. In the process, the data is linked from DBSWIN to VistaSoft. This means that DBSWIN is not affected by VistaSoft during the migration process – you can continue to use it exactly as before, with no restrictions. The images remain saved in the directory of DBSWIN. With the aid of the Server Manager from DBSWIN it is possible to move this directory to a corresponding directory in VistaSoft so that there is only one directory that needs to be backed up.
The corresponding plugin needs to be selected during installation. If it was not selected then you can run the setup again as an update and reinstall the corresponding plugin. In very rare cases, it is possible that the driver for VistaCam iX could not be copied during installation. In this case you will need to manually install the driver via the Devices Manager.
If an SDK (software development kit) for the camera is installed in your system then it is possible that you may not be able to use the camera in VistaSoft as a result. To remedy this and enable use of the camera you will need to uninstall the SDK and restart VistaSoft.
In the display settings (Application – Workplace) it is possible to increase or reduce the size of the display via the zoom value – for example, you can increase the display to 125% or 150%.
In rare cases where the connection is made via IPv6 and a host name is used at the same time, it is possible that VistaSoft needs to be restarted on the clients after a server restart. Once the software has been restarted the connection will be restored automatically.
If you still have the VistaPano S plugin installed but no VistaPano S is connected to your PC and VistaConfig is also being used at the same time then it is possible that the file Versioninfo.txt for the VistaPano S may be deleted. To remedy this fault, either uninstall the unused plugin via the installer or save a new copy of the file Versioninfo.txt to the corresponding directory.
If you are using a 32-bit operating system then you will not be able to install VistaSoft from version 3.0 or higher. VistaSoft requires a 64-bit operating system.
