- Variety of tasks: As an industrial administrator, you will be involved in all areas of the company. From purchasing materials for our devices to sales and marketing to presenting at trade fairs, there is a lot to plan and manage – you will gain exposure to a wide range of tasks and work out what best suits your skills and interests.
- Practice-orientated training: You will learn in a practical way both at vocational school and in the company and will be able to put your theoretical knowledge directly into practice. Our experienced trainers will be at your side and support you on your way to becoming a successful industrial administrator.

- Variety: Mechatronics engineers combine electronics, mechanics and IT, which means that you can work on a wide range of technical systems.
- Innovative technologies: You will work with the latest technologies and equipment, which provides constant challenges and learning opportunities.
- Teamwork: Mechatronics technicians often work in teams, which promotes collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Training in the company mainly takes place in the training workshop. You also get to know other relevant parts of the company.
- Repair and maintenance: You will help to commission, maintain and repair important equipment, machines and systems, which has a direct impact on production and efficiency.
- Practice-orientated training: You will learn in a practical way both at vocational school and in the company and will be able to put your theoretical knowledge directly into practice. Our experienced trainers will be at your side and support you on your way to becoming a successful mechatronics technician.
What we expect of you: Secondary school graduation (mittlere Reife) or higher, a keen interest in technology and good performance, especially in mathematics, physics and technology, as well as a good command of English. Furthermore, a high degree of initiative, commitment, team spirit and flexibility.

Vocational training opportunities are available at our sites in Bietigheim-Bissingen and at our subsidiaries Dürr Optronik in Gechingen and Orochemie in Kornwestheim.
The training programme begins in September of each year.
If the conditions are right, we will keep you, if possible. Depending on the area in which you have completed your training, you will then have various prospects and paths open to you with us.
